Job summary

Render is seeking its first Developer Programs Lead to own Render's social presence, developer community, developer programs, and developer voice. You will set strategy across these four areas, decide hiring needs, and manage agency partnerships when appropriate.

You will report to the Head of Developer Experience and collaborate with Marketing, product, and engineering to ensure Render sounds like Render in all developer-facing content.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across social, community, developer marketing, or brand, including leadership experience at a growing company.
• Hands-on ownership of a company's social channels with demonstrable copy you wrote.
• Experience building a developer community or program with measurable results.
• Experience shaping a brand voice and changing company communication style.
• Fluency with developer audiences and comfort writing about infrastructure with engineer input.
• Ability to work without a playbook and coordinate across Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
• Sound judgment when issues go public and in difficult moments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the team for social, community, developer programs, and developer brand.
• Own social accounts (X, LinkedIn, Reddit) initially; craft posts and engage with developers.
• Grow Render's developer community across Discord, Reddit, and other spaces.
• Run developer programs, including ambassadors, referrals, speaking, and advocacy.
• Define Render's voice and style for developers and align external narrative with launches.
