Job summary

Render in the United States is seeking a Developer Programs Lead to own our social presence, developer community, and developer programs.

You will set the strategy across four areas, decide hiring needs, and build a team to engage with thousands of developers.

Reporting to the Head of Developer Experience, you’ll partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to shape Render’s developer voice in public channels and run events, AMAs, and content programs to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across social, community, developer marketing or brand.
• Experience hiring and leading a team or building a function.
• Hands-on ownership of company social channels.
• Experience building a developer community or program.
• Experience shaping a brand voice.
• Fluency with developer audiences and technical content.
• Ability to work without a playbook across multiple teams.
• Steady judgment when things go wrong in public.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the team for social, community, developer programs, and developer brand.
• Set strategy and goals for social, community, developer programs, and brand.
• Decide what to build first, what to hand to agencies, and when to hire; manage the team.
• Report on progress to leadership and adjust strategies as needed.
• Own social channels: write posts, engage developers, and drive conversations.
• Grow Render's developer community on platforms like Discord and Reddit.
• Run AMAs, livestreams, and community events with the DX team.
• Develop and run developer programs including creators, ambassadors, and referrals.
• Define Render's developer voice and ensure cross-functional alignment.
