Job summary

Kruze Consulting is a fully remote CPA firm delivering accounting, bookkeeping, finance, payroll, and tax services to startups. The Controller will lead multi-client financial management, directing month-end close, reporting, and compliance for 15–20 startup clients in diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 8+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Accounting in a multi-client environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Willingness to work core business hours in local time zone.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain the general ledger with reconciliations and final sign-off on the ledger.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to clients for decision-making and strategic planning.
• Support audits, fundraising, and M&A activities for startup clients.
• Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality service.
