Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff across multiple Amgen functions.

This remote role must be located in the United States and will support US Staff Relations, including investigations, performance management, and workplace accommodations. You will partner with Occupational Health, Benefits and HR teams to address accommodations and leaves, while ensuring compliant ER practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with staff relations experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of employment laws and ER practices.
• Ability to conduct thorough HR investigations and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent judgment and discretion in handling complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff.
• Conduct impartial HR investigations and prepare summaries.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Learning & Development on policies and training.
• Manage case work in the ER case management system and track progress.
