Amgen Inc. is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to provide expert employee relations guidance and conduct thorough HR investigations for multiple functions within the US.

This remote role supports US Staff Relations and collaborates with Compliance, Legal, and Learning & Development teams to ensure compliant ER practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background with 4+ years in Employee Relations, experience advising on performance management and disciplinary actions, and

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with 2+ years ER experience OR Bachelor’s with 4+ years ER experience OR Associate’s with 8+ years ER experience OR High School diploma with 10+ years ER experience
• Strong HR background with 4+ years in Employee Relations
• Experience advising on performance management, discipline, and involuntary terminations
• Knowledge and experience of employment laws and ER practices
• Experience conducting internal HR investigations
• Ability to learn and fairly apply company policy, investigation procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Teams, Workday, and ER case management systems

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and staff across Amgen functions
• Conduct and document thorough, impartial HR investigations with confidentiality and objectivity
• Participate in disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace accommodations with guidance from HR leadership
