Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Staff Relations Manager to provide expert employee relations guidance and conduct HR investigations across the Operations function. The role is on-site at multiple manufacturing sites with a hybrid schedule requiring regular on-site presence.

The candidate will partner with HR Leaders, Compliance, Legal, and L&D to uphold Amgen values and improve ER practices. Preferred qualifications include 4+ years in Employee Relations and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree or equivalent HR experience.
• Experience in employee relations and investigations.
• Ability to work on-site with hybrid schedule.
• Knowledge of employment laws and ER practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide ER guidance on performance management and workplace conflicts.
• Conduct impartial HR investigations and document findings.
• Coordinate with occupational health, benefits, staff, and managers on accommodations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and L&D on policy training.
• Track and manage cases in the ER case management system.
