Job summary

Second Nature is hiring a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to own automated testing across our resident onboarding and command-center platforms. You will write and maintain test frameworks, drive AI-enabled testing with Claude, and raise engineering-wide testability standards.

The role emphasizes an AI-first approach, CI/CD integration, and collaboration with multiple pods to ship high-quality software for a nationwide resident experience platform.

Qualifications

• Quality engineering is your craft and you have a track record of building high-quality automated testing across layers (unit, integration, contract, browser/e2e).
• You design, code, and own test automation frameworks and champion AI-enabled testing to speed and harden validation.
• You work with engineering across pods, influence design for testability, and promote a culture of quality up front.

Responsibilities

• Own the automated-testing strategy and frameworks across our UI product on Resident Onboarding and Command Center.
• Build and maintain a risk-weighted registry of critical flows and report coverage with live dashboards.
• Lead AI-first testing using Claude, MCP tooling, APIs, and CLIs for rapid, repeatable scenarios.
