Job summary

The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services is seeking a remote Patient Consult Staff Pharmacist licensed in AZ, IN, FL, PA or OH. Start date 11/16/2026 with a 6-week training. Training: Mon–Fri 9:00–5:30 pm ET, then shift patterns across states including evenings and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required
• PharmD preferred
• Active state pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong communication and collaboration with departments
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
• Focus on customer service, quality and accuracy
• Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines
• Able to work a flexible schedule for peak volumes

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescriptions and verify information with physicians or patients
• Contact doctors to verify prescriptions and expedite processing
• Provide medication guidance and discuss drug interactions with patients
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure quality assurance
• Verify controlled substances and prescription data accuracy
• Back up other pharmacists as needed and train less experienced staff
