The Cigna Group is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a remote role requiring licensure in AZ, FL, IN, or OH. Training is Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm EST for 8 weeks, followed by a M-F 8:30 am–5:00 pm EST schedule with one evening shift from 12:30 pm–9 pm EST.

You will verify prescriptions, communicate with doctors and patients, and ensure accuracy while supporting patients with medication guidance.

Formación

• Current pharmacist license in good standing in state of residence.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions.
• Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.
• Ability to manage timelines and meet tight deadlines.
• Adaptability in a changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.

Responsabilidades

• Consult with patients regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.
• Contact physicians for new or transfer authorizations.
• Collaborate with physicians to convert prescriptions to generics or preferred drugs.
• Interpret prescriptions from physicians or prescribers.
• Verify prescription information to expedite order processing.
• Back up other pharmacists and train less experienced staff.
