Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a remote role. You must be licensed in AZ, IN, FL, PA or OH and be prepared to participate in a six-week training period.

After training, schedules will include consult shifts and state-specific hours, with occasional evening and Saturday rotations. The role focuses on interpreting prescriptions, verifying information, and advising patients on medications and interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Current active resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and provide safe guidance.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients on medication use and interactions.
• Contact physicians to verify orders and obtain authorization.
• Ensure accuracy of prescription data and oversee pharmacy technicians.
• Train less experienced pharmacists as needed and support quality assurance.
