Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a remote role. Ideal candidate must reside in FL, IN, AZ or PA and be licensed in their state of residence and preferably reside within an hour of our local sites.

During training (6-8 weeks), hours are Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CT. After training, shifts are Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 7 pm CT or Thu-Sun, 10-hour days with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• This position compounds and dispenses medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines.
• May take calls from customers regarding lost orders or dispensing errors; maintain production, quality and service levels.
• Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
• Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry.
• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing.
• Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications per corporate and regulatory standards.
• Handle calls regarding lost orders or dispensing errors and adjust priorities as needed.
• Oversee and ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians.
• Verify prescription details entered into the system.
• Maintain high accuracy in order processing and customer interactions.
