Job summary

Birdi is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and provide expert clinical guidance. You’ll review prescriptions, conduct DURs, counsel patients, and collaborate with providers to optimize therapy.

The role includes mentorship of technicians, oversight of daily operations, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant patient care in a home-based setting with occasional facility rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from ACPE-accredited school.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience in healthcare, mail-order, or specialty pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify prescription orders for accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding medication therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers on therapy decisions.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
