Job summary

NetDocuments is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to advance our OCR and text extraction capabilities. You will lead architecture and delivery of scalable, event-driven systems across AWS, with API design in REST and GraphQL.

As a senior engineer, you’ll mentor teams, drive technical decisions around OCR tools (Tesseract, Apryse), and partner with product to deliver secure, high-performance document management solutions for a global customer base.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering delivering production-grade apps at scale.
• 5+ years in technical leadership and OCR-related work.
• Expert in C#/.NET and cloud-based microservices.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for document content extraction and transformation on AWS.
• Lead architectural decisions using OCR technologies like Tesseract and Apryse OCR.
• Design event-driven architectures with AWS, Kafka, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable REST and GraphQL APIs powering front-end and integrations.
• Mentor engineers and guide teams toward technical excellence.
• Ensure security, performance, and compliance across implementations.
