Job summary

SailPoint, the leader in identity governance and management SaaS, is seeking a CI/CD Engineering Manager to shape release velocity, security posture, and compliance. You will lead a high-performing team of CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineers, driving Secure SDLC and Internal Developer Platforms.

You will manage multi-geo developers, ensure automated supply chain security, and partner with security and product teams to deliver auditable, scalable pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an engineering-management or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, recruit, and empower technical engineers.
• Experience guiding modern CI/CD and GitOps environments with guardrails.
• Experience delivering secure software supply chains and governance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and IaC practices guiding strategy.
• Track record of measuring delivery with metrics (e.g., DORA).
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-team communication skills.
• Strong programming foundation in Go, Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor CI/CD, DevOps, and Platform engineers to high performance.
• Champion Secure SDLC and automated supply chain security controls.
• Oversee AI security for Internal Cloud Agent infrastructure and releases.
• Drive IDP strategy with self-service developer portals and pipelines.
• Own CI/CD and GitOps delivery architectures for scalable releases.
• Enforce policy-as-code and ensure regulatory compliance and governance.
• Set pipeline performance targets and FinOps objectives for cost control.
• Shape strategy and roadmap with engineering leadership and security teams.
