SailPoint's Cybersecurity org seeks a Sr. Security Software Engineer to build robust security tooling and integrations. You will create tool-agnostic data flows, automate enforcement, and drive secure engineering practices across IAM, MDM/Entra, EDR, SIEM, and SaaS apps.

You’ll join a skilled team collaborating across Security Operations, IT, and Engineering to deliver impactful, scalable security solutions. This remote-or-Austin-based role emphasizes innovation, integrity, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, security automation, or advanced DevOps.
• Full-stack development with modern frontend frameworks and backend services.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js.
• Deep experience with APIs, OAuth/OIDC, webhooks, and integration layers.
• Cloud hosting with serverless (Lambda) or containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong IAM, Zero Trust, and Endpt/Mobile security knowledge.
• CI/CD automation with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborative, influential, and able to work in agile environments.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust security tools, middleware, and automation scripts.
• Create tool-agnostic data flows using REST, GraphQL, and Webhooks.
• Bridge gaps in vendor capabilities with resilient custom software.
• Design intuitive UIs and dashboards for security operations.
• Build deployment pipelines for security controls and SOAR workflows.
• Gather requirements and translate security policies into automated solutions.
• Ensure coding practices meet SSDLC and compliance standards.
