Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Staff Customer Engineer to bridge engineering and customer-facing teams, translating live customer issues into actionable fixes and owning the bug-resolution lifecycle.

You will develop deep product architecture expertise and enable Domain Consultants to run POVs, deploy solutions, and demonstrate value to customers, while building scalable internal tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related technical discipline.
• Strong software engineering with system-level understanding.
• Experience diagnosing complex issues in production environments.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical bridge between engineering and customer teams.
• Own end-to-end resolution of technical issues and deployments.
• Develop expertise in product architecture and roadmap.
• Enable Domain Consultants to run POVs and demonstrate value.
• Support teams in diagnosing complex customer issues.
• Build internal tools for triage by support teams.
• Help reduce dependency on engineering for routine issues.
• Lead triage of high-impact customer issues.
• Partner with engineering for root-cause fixes.
• Identify recurring issues in POVs and deployments.
• Contribute to internal docs and playbooks.
