Job summary

Identity Digital is seeking an experienced platform engineering leader to own the cloud infrastructure and the platform behind our multi-tenant managed service. You will define architecture, drive reliability targets, and build an operational practice for enterprise scale.

You will lead the delivery pipeline, ensure production readiness, and mentor engineers across time zones while shaping how DNS and identity infrastructure evolve at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Deep experience with cloud-native architectures and services (AWS/GCP preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern infrastructure-as-code practice.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction for our cloud infrastructure across services and standards.
• Design, build, and operate the cloud-native platform behind a multi-tenant managed service.
• Own production readiness for enterprise launch with SLOs, budgets, and runbooks.
• Run DNS as production infrastructure including DNSSEC and provider integrations.
• Operate signing and certificate infrastructure with security partnership.
• Build the delivery pipeline for an AI-assisted engineering team with policy-as-code.
• Ship releases with integrity including provenance and supply-chain controls.
• Instrument the platform with logging, metrics, and tracing for proactive detection.
• Automate audit readiness with automated logging, reviews, and evidence collection.
• Maintain healthy cloud spend and unit economics per tenant/per workload.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and help with hiring standards.
• Stand up on-call practices and drive blameless postmortems.
• Promote Identity Digital's core values in daily work.
