Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a platform and reliability leader to own our cloud infrastructure and SRE practice. You’ll lead a small team of cloud and reliability engineers, set SLIs/SLOs, and drive multi-region architecture that keeps healthcare data in-region and accessible.

You’ll partner with product and engineering to shorten deployment cycles, improve on-call resilience, and ship reliably at scale, with a focus on tangible impact in real-world health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience running cloud infrastructure or SRE teams at scale.
• Hands-on with a major cloud provider, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability stacks.
• Proven reliability practice with SLOs, error budgets, incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Experience designing high availability across regions with data residency and DR testing.
• Service mindset toward enabling product engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the platform team covering cloud infrastructure and reliability.
• Own multi-region cloud footprint end to end across compute, networking, data stores and IaC.
• Define SLIs/SLOs with product teams and manage error budgets and roadmaps.
• Run incident response with blameless post-incident reviews and improvements.
• Collaborate with Release Manager to improve deployment frequency and lead time.
