Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Staff, Business Intelligence Engineer to advance GTM data analytics and enable AI-driven insights. You will design robust data models, automate BI workflows, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to support data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes data quality, scalable pipelines, and cross-functional partnerships in a remote, globally distributed team. Strong SQL, BI tooling, and CI/CD expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI, analytics engineering, data engineering or related field, preference for GTM or sales analytics in SaaS.
• Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau for executive reporting and sales analytics.
• Advanced SQL and data model design expertise.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to codify and reconcile metrics.
• Proven track record with data quality, testing frameworks, CI/CD, and data observability.
• Strong technical communication and mentorship skills.
• Software engineering mindset with awareness of Dev/Staging/Prod.
• Experience with code-based BI and semantic tools to orchestrate data pipelines (Looker/LookML, dbt, Cube.js, Superset).
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with AI products (Claude, Cortex, Glean, Gemini) and GTM stacks (Salesforce, Gong).
• Evangelizing data culture within a fast-paced tech org.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis and interpretation to extract insights and drive revenue operations efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automated data reconciliation and quality checks for accuracy of reports and dashboards.
• Create visualizations to communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Build and maintain data models to support GTM strategic decisions.
• Drive BI automation by treating dashboards and semantic layers as code with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and analytics tooling.
