Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff, Analytics Engineer to advance the GTM data layer for trusted sales analytics, reporting, data science, and AI capabilities. You will design a robust business data layer and ensure data consistency across multiple sources, enabling informed decisions.

You will mentor the analytics team, align metrics with GTM Operations and Finance, and champion data quality, testing, and observability in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics engineering, data engineering, BI, or related work, preferably with GTM/sales analytics in SaaS.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling; experience with building data pipelines using dbt.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to codify and reconcile key business metrics.
• Proven experience implementing robust data quality and testing frameworks (dbt tests, CI/CD, data observability).
• Strong technical communication and mentoring skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a formal business data layer in dbt; centralize data from multiple sources for GTM metrics.
• Collaborate with GTM Operations and Finance to define and document key metrics and data definitions.
• Develop and maintain automated data reconciliation and quality checks for accuracy in reports and dashboards.
• Mentor and guide the data science/analytics team; promote best practices in modeling, testing, and code reviews.
• Lead investigations into data anomalies and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
