Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Staff Security Software Engineer to shape the AI security tooling platform across the organization. You will define the architecture, standards, and methodologies for tooling that assesses, detects, and defends AI systems while aligning with product security and risk management teams.

You will lead cross-team efforts, build scalable tooling, and mentor engineers, driving best practices for AI security engineering and governance across the company.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in security software engineering or related discipline.
• Expert Python engineering: production-scale systems and observability.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML security: adversarial ML, prompt injection, model security.
• Experience designing security tooling architectures across multiple teams.
• Strong technical communicator enabling cross-team adoption of standards.

Responsibilities
