Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Security Field Engineer to help data teams assess platform security and support accounts through security reviews.

You will meet customers, train teams, and develop customer-facing content such as decks and white papers, with a focus on scalable enablement over meetings. You will work on architectures, security principles, and various domains while leveraging AI to scale impact across thousands of customers and employees.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical pre‑sales or post‑sales experience explaining hard concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex security principles clearly.
• Experience across multiple domains: IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, network and endpoint security, web apps, vulnerability management, identity management, and SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Be viewed as a security expert, working with field teams and customers to address concerns and compliance questions.
• Create scalable content such as slides, white papers, and enablement materials; contribute to internal systems and automation.
• Lead in customer engagements, training, and product messaging improvements with product management and marketing.
