Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking an accounting professional to support month-end close, reconciliations, and controls. This remote-friendly role requires 2-3 years accounting experience and strong Excel skills.

You'll collaborate with finance and auditors, ensure GAAP compliance, and help deliver timely financial reporting. We offer a remote-first environment with flexible PTO and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
