Job summary

RethinkFirst is a market leader in behavioral health technology seeking a detail-oriented accountant to perform day-to-day accounting, bank reconciliations, and support the month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.

This remote-first, nationwide role requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of experience and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). We offer comprehensive benefits, flexible PTO, and 11 company holidays.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and management review are met.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
