BBenefits, LLC is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and support management reporting in compliance with GAAP. The role involves coordinating audit activities, reallocations, and accruals while driving process improvements across accounting systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of experience, and CPA/MBA credentials are a plus. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting and analysis experience.
• CPA, MBA or public accounting experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and administer general ledger accounts and record business transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements for all entities and provide supporting financial reporting analytics.
• Assist with management reporting, KPI reporting, and financial covenant reporting.
• Prepare and review complex accounting transactions and estimates for posting to the general ledger.
• Prepare audit documentation for quarterly reviews and the annual independent audit.
• Process allocations, monthly accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation, and adjusting/reclassification journal entries.
• Prepare general ledger entries, maintain supporting records, and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare monthly statements by collecting data, investigating variances, and summarizing financial information and trends.
• Prepare special financial reports requested by management.
• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper coding.
• Use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information.
• Partner with management on accounting system integrations and conversions.
• Analyze current procedures and identify automation opportunities to streamline processes.
