Job summary

KIPP North Carolina is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, focusing on accounts payable, credit card transactions, and general ledger activities. You will work closely with the Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely processing across entities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience in accounting operations, AP, or bookkeeping.
• Strong knowledge of debits/credits and general ledger.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.
• Experience with Ramp or similar AP/expense systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and maintain supporting docs.
• Enter invoices into Ramp and LINQ systems accurately.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare schedules and journal entries.
• Support vendor records and Form 1099 preparation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.
• Collaborate with Finance Team to ensure accurate reporting.
