Chartspan is seeking a Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable / Payroll to manage day-to-day AP, vendor payments, expense processing, and provide payroll support in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will also handle payroll coverage during absences, assist with month-end close, and collaborate with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure accurate financial records and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with AP and payroll processes desirable.
• Strong internal controls and month-end close knowledge.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel/Google Sheets required.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable from invoice receipt to payment.
• Review invoices for accuracy and required approvals; process payments.
• Handle travel & expense processing and corporate card administration.
• Provide payroll backup support and assist with payroll processing.
• Assist with month-end close and related accounting tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and support documentation; respond to inquiries.
