CONTRIBUTOR DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP is seeking a Staff Accountant on a remote basis to support accounts payable, expense reporting, and the full accounting cycle within our Finance team. The role emphasizes processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end tasks.

The position offers growth opportunities across departments and exposure to auditing support while working with a collaborative public media-focused nonprofit-like organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct, Bank of America CashPro, and Expensify is a plus.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, expense reporting, and month-end close processes.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage the Accounts Payable inbox and ensure invoices are processed accurately and timely.
• Create and maintain vendor records, including new CDP employees when applicable, and collect required documentation such as W-9s and ACH/remittance information.
• Enter vendor invoices into Sage Intacct and route invoices to the appropriate CDP reviewer and approver.
• Monitor Accounts Payable workflows and follow up with reviewers/approvers regarding outstanding invoices or approvals.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reminders to all staff regarding timely expense submission and approval.
• Assist with monthly corporate credit card reconciliations.
• Provide bank statements and supporting documentation for monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support ad hoc Finance and Accounting projects and year-end audit requests.
