Job summary

eCratchit Nonprofit Accounting seeks a Staff Accountant to support nonprofit clients with reconciliations, GL maintenance, and monthly financial reporting. You will collaborate with multiple clients and peers, staying organized, proactive, and detail‑driven while advancing nonprofit missions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independent work, and a commitment to flexible, remote‑friendly environments as part of our dynamic accounting team.

Qualifications

• Strong reconciliation and balance sheet analysis skills.
• General ledger experience.
• Understanding of monthly financial statement reporting.
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with multiple clients/companies and peers.
• Organize work, set priorities, follow-up, and work proactively with minimal supervision.
• Motivated, self-directed and detail-oriented.
• Strong desire to support Non Profit Organizations and their missions.

Responsibilities
