Job summary

KSHurst Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team remotely. You will support daily AP processes, ensuring invoices and payments are accurate and timely, while safeguarding confidential financial information.

The role requires 2+ years in bookkeeping or AP, experience with ERP systems, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Remote work flexibility, with expectations for independent, detail-driven work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable or finance.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code them accurately.
• Review bills for completeness, accuracy, and authorization.
• Enter and maintain accounts payable data in the accounting system.
• Pay vendors per corporate policies and reconcile vendor statements.
• Provide admin support, reporting and reconciliations to the finance team.
• Assist with cost reporting and employee reimbursements as needed.
• Communicate with vendors about invoicing and payment status.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting functions.
• Maintain electronic files for correspondence, bills and payments.

Position Overview:

We are searching for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. in this role you will support the daily accounts payable process to ensure that invoices and payments are made accurately, timely and efficient

We’re searching for someone who can operate remotely and independently, with good eye for details and an understanding of the need of accurate financial records and safeguarding of corporate information

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code properly.
• Review bills for completeness, accuracy, and authority.
• Enters and maintains accounts payable data into accounting system.
• Pay vendors according to corporate policies.Vendor Statement Reconciliation Dispute resolution.
• Provided administration support, reporting and reconciliations to the financial team.
• Support with cost reporting and employee reimbursements as appropriate.
• Questions about your account? Contact vendors to follow up on invoicing and payments status.
• Assist with month end and year end accounting functions
• Keep all correspondence, bills and payments in electronic files in an orderly fashion.
• Commercial and financial information should be kept confidential
• Report any unusual transactions and irregularities as applicable.
• Implement financial policies, procedures and controls of the compan

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable or any finance related area.
• Knowledge of the basics of accounting. ERP or accounting system experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Well organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to multi-task. deadlines. priorities.
• Self-starter, working remotely.
