Qualifications

• 9+ years of total IT experience with 4+ years specializing in MS SQL Server admin/development and SSIS production support.
• Deep proficiency in T-SQL programming, stored procedures, indexing, and query performance tuning.
• Experience leading a team of support engineers and managing on-call rotations or incident queues.

Responsibilities

• Lead production support and incident management for SQL Server databases, jobs, and SSIS package failures.
• Monitor, review, and optimize SSIS packages for performance, error handling, and logging.
• Analyze and optimize complex T-SQL queries, procedures, indexes, and execution plans.
• Provide technical leadership, code/script reviews, and operational best practices.
• Automate maintenance tasks using PowerShell or SQL Agent to ensure reliability.
• Coordinate RCA with cross-functional teams during deployments.
