NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SSIS and SQL Server Support Tech Lead in Addison, Texas. You will lead a team of database engineers, manage critical production incidents, and optimize MS SQL Server and SSIS environments to ensure high availability.

Responsibilities include triage and resolution of production issues, ETL optimization, query tuning, and mentoring junior engineers. Strong PowerShell or SQL Agent automation is required, with excellent communication across teams.

Qualificações

• 9+ years IT experience with at least 4+ years in MS SQL Server admin/development and SSIS production support.
• 5+ years experience with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query performance tuning.
• 5+ years experience with SSIS - design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years experience Monitoring & Tooling - SSMS, SQL Agent, performance monitoring tools.
• 5+ years scripting in PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
• Soft skills: strong analytical mindset, client/stakeholder communication, on-call/incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Production Support & Incident Management: Lead triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of critical production issues related to SQL Server databases, jobs, and SSIS package failures.
• ETL & SSIS Optimization: Monitor, review, and fine-tune SSIS packages to improve execution performance, error handling, and logging mechanisms.
• Database Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and execution plans to reduce server load and latency.
• Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level support engineers, conduct code/script reviews, and establish operational best practices.
• Automation & Maintenance: Implement proactive maintenance routines, index rebuilding strategies, database backups/restores, and automation scripts using PowerShell or SQL Agent.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional development, infrastructure, and business stakeholder teams during root cause analysis (RCA) and deployment cycles.
