Louis Law Group seeks a remote SSDI Legal Assistant based in Latin America to support our Social Security Disability Insurance practice. The role emphasizes organizing medical records, deadlines, and client communication to keep cases moving.

We run on AI and automation; team members use AI tools daily and receive training on Social Security Disability law and our processes. This role requires curiosity, organization and drive to succeed.

Qualifications

• Prior law firm experience required; any practice area acceptable.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional English, written and spoken.
• Strong client communication, including phone calls.
• Regular use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Full-time availability during US Eastern Time.
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet.

Responsabilités

• Assist SSDI/SSI cases from intake through the administrative process.
• Communicate with clients about medical treatment, case status, and needed information.
• Collect, organize, and review medical records and other supporting documentation.
• Prepare and submit forms, records, and correspondence to the SSA.
• Monitor deadlines, SSA requests, hearing dates, and documentation.
• Follow up with medical providers, clients, and government offices to obtain missing information.
• Assist attorneys and case managers with preparing files for disability hearings.
• Keep our case management system accurate and current; document communications and deadlines.
• Use AI tools daily to draft correspondence and organize records.
