BruntWork is actively seeking an experienced Case Manager to handle a high-volume SSD/SSI caseload from intake through the formal hearing level. This role is designed for a seasoned legal professional who can step into the position with minimal training and work remotely.

You will coordinate with the SSA, DDS, and OHO, track medical records, and prepare filings within strict deadlines while maintaining detailed case notes and clear communication with clients.

Competenze

• Experience handling SSD/SSI casework.
• Experience communicating with DDS adjudicators and medical records depts.
• Knowledge of SSA Blue Book criteria, listings, and procedural timelines.
• Strong written and verbal English for federal correspondence and client care.

Mansioni

• Case lifecycle management from intake up to the formal hearing.
• Prepare, verify, and file initial applications, reconsiderations, and hearing requests by deadlines.
• Liaise directly with SSA, DDS, and OHO.
• Track and analyze medical records, opinions, and evidentiary documentation.
• Maintain meticulous case notes, client profiles, and deadlines in CMS.
• Communicate with clients to provide status updates and explain next steps.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals with hearing prep and evidence compilation.
