Job summary

Fearless is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for our Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services group. This fully remote role supports federal oversight systems, focusing on secure, scalable infrastructure and automation.

You will drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and GitHub workflows, maintain security best practices, and keep thorough technical documentation to ensure reliability for agencies, grantees, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines with GitHub Workflows.
• Resolve infra issues on AWS including networks, databases, and compute resources.
• Automate deployment of workloads and infrastructure for containers.
• Design and maintain log collection, monitoring, and observability systems.
• Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts.
• Implement security best practices across app, network, and infrastructure layers for compliance.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update infra documentation and diagrams.
