You will drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and GitHub workflows, maintain security best practices, and keep thorough technical documentation to ensure reliability for agencies, grantees, and the public.

nsultant, Engineering & Technical Services) We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer as part of our Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services career path to support the Federal Audit Clearinghouse (FAC), a critical federal oversight system that supports transparency and accountability in federal grant spending. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure that ensures system reliability and compliance with federal security standards. The individual will lead infrastructure automation initiatives using Terraform and GitHub Workflows, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and support ongoing system operations and security practices. This role combines infrastructure expertise, automation, and a security-minded approach to enable continuous delivery and maintain a reliable, sustainable system that serves federal agencies, grantees, and the public. This is a fully remote role.

Your Responsibilities In This Role

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using Terraform that meet business and technology requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub Workflows and GitHub Actions to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Resolve technical issues in software infrastructure, including software-defined networks, databases, and compute resources on AWS.
• Automate the deployment of workloads, services, and infrastructure for container orchestration platforms.
• Design and maintain log collection, monitoring, and analysis systems to support observability, system performance, and operational reliability.
• Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across application, network, and infrastructure layers to support federal security and compliance requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update comprehensive technical documentation, including infrastructure architecture diagrams, READMEs, operational procedures, system configurations, and security documentation.
