Job summary

Fearless Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Consultant) to empower secure, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting Federal Audit Clearinghouse. You will build automation with Terraform and GitHub Workflows, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with security standards.

This remote role partners with cross-functional teams across software, data, and security domains. You will deploy, monitor, and optimize infrastructure on AWS, implement CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Workflows/Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu).
• Experience with Docker containers and containerized apps.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines with GitHub Workflows/Actions.
• Resolve infrastructure issues across databases, networks, and compute on AWS.
• Automate deployment of workloads for container orchestration platforms.
• Maintain log collection, observability, and performance monitoring systems.
• Lead or support incident response and troubleshooting efforts.
• Implement security best practices across layers for federal compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
