Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions is hiring a Site Reliability Engineering Lead to guide a small-to-mid SRE team managing cloud-native platforms. You will drive reliability, automation, and cost-aware optimization across Kubernetes-based services, working with Dev, Security, and Product teams.

You will own hiring, onboarding, and performance development, set team goals, and lead post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence, while shaping scalable, resilient cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Expert Kubernetes knowledge: cluster architecture, upgrades, autoscaling, security.
• Terraform IaC across multi-environment provisioning.
• Azure cloud: compute, networking, identity, storage, cost optimization.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, release strategies, rollback automation.
• Observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry; SLO/SLA management.
• Strong automation to remove toil; self-healing infra and tooling.
• Python and Bash/PowerShell scripting for tooling.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of SREs; conduct 1:1s and reviews.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and capacity/resourcing decisions.
• Set team goals, prioritize backlog, and drive planning.
• Foster blameless post-incident culture and cross-team collaboration.
• Lead reliability initiatives across infrastructure and services.
• Drive incident response and continuous service improvement.
• Champion automation and operational excellence across the platform.
• Support scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native environments.
