Responsible for providing quality loan processing, reviewing files for adherence to underwriting standards, and ensuring completeness of submission. Obtains necessary information (loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) to process and complete mortgage loan files. Performs all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable US laws and regulations. The target pay range for this position is $58,000 to $70,000.

What You’ll Do

• Review loan submissions, monitor incoming documents, and verify data collected by Brokers.
• Obtain necessary information to process and complete mortgage loan files.
• Input loan information into the company’s Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Maintain open files, order appraisals, send verifications, and acquire documentation related to Borrower and property.
• Ensure work quality and compliance with company policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Communicate with external parties (Escrow Officer, Title Officer, Realtor, etc.) and internal staff to resolve issues.
• Review and evaluate credit information to determine loan acceptability.
• Pull or verify credit reports and flood certificates as needed.
• Submit completed files for Underwriting approval and obtain necessary stipulations.
• Meet deadlines for disclosures, approval letters, and notices.
• Process 4506T, lock confirmations, and Change of Circumstance requests.
• Monitor pipeline for timely loan funding.
• Assist Post Closing Department as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of loan processing experience required.
• Encompass/Empower experience and AUS experience preferred.
