Responsibilities:

• Provide quality loan processing, review files for adherence to underwriting standards, and ensure submission completeness.
• Obtain necessary information (loan applications, credit documents, appraisals, etc.) to process mortgage loan files.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies, US laws, and regulations.
• Monitor incoming documents, verify data, and organize loan information in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Maintain open files, order appraisals, send verifications, and acquire documentation related to borrowers and properties.
• Ensure work complies with policies, procedures, and investor guidelines.
• Coordinate with external and internal parties to resolve issues and communicate loan status.
• Review and evaluate credit information, verify reports, and submit files for underwriting approval.
• Obtain stipulations to clear prior to documentation and funding.
• Ensure deadlines are met for disclosures, approval, and denial notices.
• Process 4506T, lock confirmations, and Change of Circumstance requests.
• Monitor pipeline for timely loan funding and assist with post-closing activities.

Requirements:

• Maintain confidentiality of borrower information.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage processing and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and office equipment.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle detailed tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of loan processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass/Empower, DU, LP, or other AUS preferred.
