Job summary

IDL is seeking a Senior Manager, Partnership Solutions to convert sponsor briefs into compelling proposals. You will interpret opportunities, shape strategic ideas, and direct a designer to deliver decks for new sponsorships, renewals, RFPs, and category pitches.

You will work closely with the VP of Partnerships to manage the strategy and materials behind conversations, delivering high-quality proposals with fast turnaround and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in partnership solutions, sponsorship strategy, integrated marketing, or related role.
• Experience in sports, live events, entertainment, or gaming is valued.
• A portfolio showing pre-sale partnership work, platforms, or campaigns.
• Ability to turn brand objectives into a specific partnership idea and commercial narrative.
• Commercial judgement on asset selection, rights, pricing logic, and deliverability.
• Experience using audience insights or sponsorship data to strengthen proposals and KPIs.
• Strong deck writing and directing a designer for slide creation and execution.
• Ability to manage several live opportunities and adapt as information evolves.

Responsibilities

• Interpret sponsor briefs, research brand context, and shape recommendations.
• Develop partnership concepts, narratives, activation approaches, and measurement plans.
• Join sponsor conversations to capture feedback and explain strategic thinking.
• Define and maintain IDL's partnership inventory and build sellable rights packages.
• Draft initial package structures, rights grids, and commercial assumptions for leadership.
• Ensure proposals use assets within defined margin structures and feasible delivery.
• Write proposal structures, slide headlines, copy, and creative direction; guide the deck designer through revisions.
• Deliver about two proposal workstreams per week, prioritizing urgent opportunities and surfacing risks early.
• Build reusable category stories, platforms, case studies, templates, and proof points for the sales team.
• Create a clean handoff from sold concepts to activation teams.
