Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk Administration and Operations.
• Strong experience onboarding customers and integrating enterprise data sources into Splunk.
• Experience troubleshooting Splunk infrastructure, ingestion pipelines, search performance, and operational issues.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and enterprise log management platforms.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including systems, storage, networking, middleware, security, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments supporting critical business systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Splunk platform for HA and performance.
• Onboard customers and integrate enterprise data sources into Splunk ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, indexing, searches, dashboards, alerts, and infra issues.
• Develop Python-based automation for platform administration, monitoring, and reporting.
• Support enterprise-wide log management and observability initiatives across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with standards and roadmaps.
• Participate in OpenTelemetry rollout and agent/configuration deployment.
• Assist in incident management and capacity planning.
• Evaluate new observability tech and improvements.
