Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Administrator/Technology Engineer to support enterprise monitoring, observability, and operational excellence initiatives. The role emphasizes Splunk Administration, onboarding customers, data-source integration, troubleshooting, and maintaining health and performance of the Splunk environment.

You will design and implement technology solutions across infrastructure, data, systems, storage, networking, security, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Splunk Administration and Operations.
• Experience onboarding customers and integrating enterprise data sources into Splunk.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and enterprise log management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Splunk platform, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
• Onboard new customers and integrate diverse enterprise data sources into Splunk.
• Troubleshoot ingestion, indexing, search performance, dashboards, and infrastructure issues.
• Develop Python-based automation for administration, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud engineering teams.
