Cognizant is seeking a skilled Splunk Administrator / Technology Engineer to support enterprise monitoring, observability, and operational excellence. You will manage Splunk platforms, onboard customers, and integrate data sources while building automation with Python.

OpenTelemetry adoption and cross‑functional collaboration are key parts of the role. The position is remote in the USA with salary between $114,000 and $128,000 plus discretionary incentive eligibility.

Qualificações

• 8+ years hands-on Splunk Administration experience.
• Strong onboarding of customers and data source integration into Splunk.
• Experience troubleshooting Splunk infrastructure and ingestion pipelines.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain the Splunk platform for high availability and performance.
• Onboard new customers and integrate enterprise data sources into Splunk.
• Troubleshoot Splunk issues across ingestion, indexing, dashboards, alerts, and infrastructure.
• Develop Python-based automation for administration, monitoring, and reporting.
• Support observability initiatives across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Participate in OpenTelemetry implementation and rollout.
