Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to handle moderately complex tasks supporting specialty medications. You will collaborate with provider offices to troubleshoot and complete prior authorization requests and ensure timely processing for members.

You must hold an active Pharmacy Tech Certification with the Board of Pharmacy for your state, have pharmacy technician or call center experience, and be proficient with multiple computer applications.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Tech Certification with Board of Pharmacy in state of residence.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or call center experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously.
• Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy experience.
• Experience submitting and/or reading pharmacy claims.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete prior authorization requests for specialty medications.
• Collaborate with provider offices to complete prior authorization processes.
• Handle multiple computer applications simultaneously during workflow.
• Support members and providers in a call-center style environment.
