Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a contract role in a call center environment. Responsibilities include evaluating and authorizing prior authorization requests received by telephone or fax, and communicating decisions to physicians and staff.

The position requires state certification, retail and call center experience, and the ability to work weekends and extended shifts with a structured schedule.

Qualificações

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with state certification.
• Retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Call center experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and authorize prior authorization requests from prescribers via phone or fax.
• Communicate decisions and formulary options to physicians and staff.
• Document outcomes in the pharmacy system and ensure accuracy.
• Escalate complex cases to a Pharmacist as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and provide results within SLA guidelines.
• MULTITASK across multiple queues and adapt to changing requirements.
