Job summary

CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 and Prior Authorization Technician to support providers and process PA requests for specialty medications.

The role emphasizes interpretation of policies, adherence to standards, and some discretion in prioritizing tasks. It is a remote, 40-hour weekly position with overtime potential and a starting pay range described below.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Tech Certification with Board of Pharmacy for state of residence.
• National Certification: PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy call center.
• Ability to read and interpret clinical information.
• Strong communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied administrative/technical/operational tasks.
• Process and support prior authorization requests for specialty medications.
• Collaborate with providers' offices to troubleshoot and complete PA requests.
• Handle multiple computer applications simultaneously and maintain accuracy.
