Job summary
CenterWell Pharmacy is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The role handles varied and semi-routine assignments and performs computations.
Candidates must reside in AZ, FL, or OH and have an active state Pharmacy Technician license, PTCB or NHA certification, and experience with multiple computer applications.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state you reside
- PTCB or NHA certification required
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or inbound/outbound phone experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and use multiple computer applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Word/Excel)
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong data entry
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing
- Contact physicians for prescription clarifications as needed
- Enter prescription orders into the system
- Support adherence to Specialty Rx processes and programs
- Communicate effectively with patients and providers
