Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 to support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and to handle related administrative tasks. The role includes computer order entry, communications with physicians and patients, and adherence to specialized processes to optimize health outcomes.

Ideal candidates will hold an active pharmacy license in their state and PTCB or NHA certification, with prior Pharmacy Technician experience and strong multitasking,

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Pharmacy Technician license with the state Board of Pharmacy where you reside.
• Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or inbound/outbound call experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and use several computer apps simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing of Specialty Rx medications.
• Perform computations and enter prescription orders into the system.
• Contact physicians for prescription clarifications and ensure adherence to specialty processes.
• Assist patients and providers by following defined policies and programs to optimize health outcomes.
