Medical Mutual in Ohio is seeking a driven insurance sales professional to sell custom-designed specialty benefit packages to clients and brokers. You will apply company knowledge to tailor benefits to client needs and help them navigate the enrollment process.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in health or specialty product insurance sales, and an active Ohio Department of Insurance license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• 5 years progressive experience in health/specialty product insurance sales and service.
• Current Ohio Department of Insurance License.
• In-depth knowledge of health insurance products and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships with brokers and clients via networking and representation at meetings and events.
• Develops understanding of company history, services, competition, and licensure requirements.
• Educates and advises on specialty benefit packages within the assigned sales territory.
• Interviews prospective clients/brokers to evaluate specialty benefit requirements and financial goals.
• Develops and delivers sales proposals, closes deals, and finalizes contracts for group specialty benefits.
• Participates in sales forecasting and planning; mentors junior staff; performs other duties as assigned.
